Artist Bio

Alison Keogh’s work has always embraced repetition and texture as essential elements resulting in an organic sensibility that is far from the straight edge of the architect’s studio of her former profession.

Originally from England, she has lived a somewhat nomadic existence moving to different locations. It is evident that her changing environments substantially inform her studio practice.

Her work is a direct expression of her inner self and carries a soulful imprint of her physical body as she explores diverse mediums. She is currently researching a single action gesture that synthesizes the nature of repetitive elements using parts of her body.

Alison is an independent artist based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She earned her architectural degree and masters at Kingston University, London. Her work has been exhibited internationally as well as nationally with several works in private collections along with a recent museum acquisition.
